I’m gonna take your advice, I’m also doing planking exercises and blowing back into the CPAP machine to strengthen my lungs and upper airway, I’m using my CPAP machine as an exercise machine for stuff as well as using it the right way, all of this wish weight loss combined may fix my OSA problem

😳🫢😬 I don’t know about ANY of this lol given a choice I would stick to CPAP & I am a Registered Sleep Technologist that also wears CPAP…..Cannula type tubes are just itchy & uncomfortable! Patients hate them. Guess we will have to wait & see what they do with that mask!

I can only imagine that tube will cause a lot of rain outs.

I just got an airsense 11... nothing but rainout all night. same settings as airsense 10. I use max humidity (setting 8) and max tube temperature (86 degF). With my airsense 10 I never had an issue with rainout with those settings. Now with the airsense 11, massive rainout. I have tried reducing the humdity to the point where it burns my throat and I wake up due to that. I did notice that it feels like the tube heats up at the begining of the night, but when I wakeup with rainout in the night the tube is cold. Anyone else have a similar issue?

These drugs are very dangerous and require lifelong use.

Looks like a Gr8 mask, however, no Cpap supplier in the USA has the Pillows option. FP USA states it's not available in the US. There is no date set for its release 😢

I just started CPAP therapy 4 days ago, thought I would share my experience. I am using an Airsense 10 auto features on and the mask that covers the nose, not the mouth. I started with 86-91 events per hour from sleep study. Night 1- I used the prescribed settings 6-20 on the pressure delivery and a medium nose piece. I felt like I was being waterboarded, but I fought through it. In the morning I felt super bloated. I had 13.5 events per hour Night 2- I bypassed the clinical setting and dropped the pressure delivery to 6-12, thinking this might help with the bloating. I also went to the large nose piece. I had reduced my events from 13.5/hour to only 5.5/hour. But man I was I bloated and nauscious. Day of Night 3 I was so sick I felt like I was being poisoned. I was vomiting, had urgent diarreah, nausea and just felt so sick I decided to bypass another night of this until I talked to my doctor. I am not trading 1 problem for another. I am on Day 4 now. Some bloating has passed and I am still nauseous. I am not doing another day of CPAP until my doctor gives me some answers.

I’ve been using this for about a month. Leak rate down. Event count down. Neck pain improved. No face lines. I’ve been a lifelong mouth breather and I don’t have any problems. My lips don’t stay closed but somehow it helps me keep my tongue on the roof of my mouth which is enough to prevent mouth leak. I’m definitely a fan.

This used to be my “go to” mask until you told me about the Hans Solo and now I love love love that mask! Thank you, Nick. :)

The first thing I did was remove that material. It was hard to get it out and impossible to put it back in, I noticed when I tried to change my mind.

Do you have a Sleep HQ branch / affiliate in South Africa? I learn so much from you. Question: I have the AirTouch F20 and it causes puffy bags under my eyes - any advice would be appreciated, especially if it's humorous! :)

There is? The masks I have that you can feel the outlet air there is always air coming out the vent, even when inhaling. That's with the pressure at 4.0. Granted I don't have every mask ever made lol

Any hacks to make the mask quieter?
